Playing for Good

Playing for Good is a classical chamber ensemble and concert series based on benefiting the non-profit organizations that support the local Vermont community. Having met each other in conservatory and in orchestral ensembles in both New York and Vermont, we are a group of close friends and professional colleagues with decades of experience performing for audiences large and small throughout the Northeast.

Eager to share our talents and training with simultaneously a broader yet more intimate audience, Playing for Good concerts are geared towards venues less conventional than the average concert hall, catering to those both familiar and unfamiliar with classical music.

Our expansive repertoire includes the standard classical chamber music canon along with more contemporary and cross-over compositions. Fiercely committed to the performance of live music, our programs are free and open to people of all ages and demographics. Suggested donations always benefit a non-profit or charity of local interest. Playing for Good’s goal is to inspire and give back to the community by presenting the best of classical chamber music performed at the highest professional level.
